On The Ground In Haiti

There has been a lot of posts, writing, and reflection on Haiti. Yesterday was the anniversary of the earthquake that devastated the country one year ago.

Clearly, not all has improved, despite our efforts.

All I want to say is, I’m super proud of one of my Junior High ministry leaders and her mom (fellow staffer at Eagle Brook) who have been on the ground in Haiti for the last week being the hands and feet of Jesus. They were sent to deliver 70,000 pairs of Toms Shoes, and in the meantime, have been serving, loving, and caring for the orphans of Haiti.

Please pray for them (Ali & Cindy), the delivery of these shoes, and for Haiti: http://www.travelpod.com/travel-blog-entries/afunk/2/1294427849/tpod.html
