Push Push Push ~ Wait Wait Wait

I often feel my relationship with God is a combination of Push Push Push & Wait Wait Wait.

Push to seek open doors.

Push to figure out the next wave.

Push to make decisions.

Wait on God to provide.

Wait on God to open doors.

Wait on God to build momentum.

Push to make change.

Wait for God to make it happen.

Push to cast vision and implement strategy.

Wait for God to complete it.

Push to plant seeds.

Wait for God to water them.

I’m beginning to learn more and more each day how a relationship with the Unpredictable and Predictable God requires a healthy tension of Push and Wait.

“They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
