In today’s class, the most interesting things were the first “seeker-sensitive” churches after Constantine and the story of St. Patrick. The seeker-sensitive approach lacks for many reasons, but in relation to today’s world, people lose their fire when the Gospel is watered down. This is exactly what happened after Constantine. The story of St. Patrick was inspiring because when Patrick began studying Christianity in Ireland, there were NO Christians. When he died, there were many, many Christian communities around Ireland.
